Status as of October 18, 2002: BAA 02-08 proposal evaluation is complete for first round proposals which were received by April 22, 2002. Area 2 and Area 3 offerors have been notified regarding selection or non-selection. Formal notification letter for Area 1 offerors were mailed the week of October 14, 2002. BAA 02-08 remains open until March 20, 2003. The Government may request additional proposals subsequent to the first round consistent with funding availability and program requirements. Proposals received after the close of the initial evaluation period, but before the close of the BAA, will be reviewed but the likelihood that funding will be available or that program requirements remain outstanding will be less than for proposals received prior to the first round due date. Proposals received after the close of this BAA will be returned unopened.
